Things are taking place so fast, the pace is out of our control. Last year is like too distant past. The first quarter of this year has already passed, an annual report already published by the organisation where I am employed. A month from now, I will be going to Tokyo. At last, I will feel it too, going abroad for works, no more for a living or classes. Some friends of mine are also back to foreign lands for advanced studies and work-related businesses. A month seems so far yet so near.

Couple of months from now, a new chapter will also begin. Still contemplating for a beautiful name for the unborn one. Still undecided, but the tradition tells us that we got a week after the delivery. Wife is so happy, me too. But, the preparation is like half-heartedly done. Still, we give our best. Life will be more hectic after this.

It is like a race for the human production in my big family. My eldest is also expecting, and second elder is just listed. Interesting eh, answering the Prophet's call. Used to be told that I know what the word "tarbiyah" means, but I refused to admit. The call is actually from the Almighty, delivered by the Messenger. Thus, wherever we go, whatever we do, all things come from Him and will be returned to Him.

The discussion about freedom of religion and race, it fascinated many how strict and inflexible Islamic faith is. The laws is from the Almighty, how can a creature have the right to amend it, but you have the choice. To those who are already in the circle of faith, the community is watching you. But, to those who are outside of the circle, please do not make fun and think that you have the power to control. First thing is you have to understand, creatures are created with the rights to choose. However, when it comes to submission to the Ultimate rule of the Creator, you shall follow the Truth. Yes, it is subjective. You seek it, you will find it. Secondly, those who claimed to be unlucky for being born in the circle without having the opportunity to opt out, again it is a matter of laws and rules. Religion is not like society or club where you can just simply jump from one to another. If the religion allows you to do so, it proves that the religion is humanly originated. Once you join the club, you are in the club. That is why, the choice is for those who are outside the circle, religion is not for fun or just for personal pleasure and/or traquility. It is a matter of life, and the life in the Hereafter. The laws governs your life.

If you are not happy that we have our own courts, fine, it is your right to voice it out. But, our lives are not secular, religion to us is not just in the holy temples or churches, because the Prophet told us, the world has been made as a place for prayer. We can pray at any (clean) places, and anytime. That is why those who are outside fails to grasp this worldview. Same goes with claiming all of us are brothers. This tells us, our worldview makes us one another like "family" members. You take care of me like I am your brother. Not living in solitude. That is why to a certain extent, in terms of communal life, people in the Western society is more Islamic as they care for their neighbors more than we do. I admit, my weakness is also contributing to the not-so-good image of my faith. Still, we do not claim the practice of the believers is the correct picture of a religion. People are now fighting for a secular world. Religion is not by the people, but today it is by the book. Good representatives of the faith are banned by its own followers, that is the sad reality.

Wife approached, "We gonna use Pa and Ma, okay?" Deep inside, feel worried. The word "tarbiyah" is chasing me.
