MY DAY

At last, it's the 9th day of September. It's my day. As a gift to myself, I should try fasting coz today is Thursday... Good day for fasting and good month for increasing our good deeds and ibadah.

Read Fi Zilal this morning, continue from verse 3 to verse 5 of Sura al-Fatihah. Learn new perspective in understanding this sura. The only sura that ensures the validity of our prayer.

Why? It's the dialogue we have with God the Almighty when we recite the sura. It emphasizes the relation between God and human, as we praise Him and ask His guidance, we admit His Deity and Omnibenevolence as we depends only on His Mercy and Guidance. Without having the dialogue with God, a prayer is not valid.

Read and understand the sura, consists 3 parts: 1) what's for God (see verse 1-4), 2) what's for God and human (see verse 5), and 3) what's for human (see verse 6-7).

May ALLAH guide us and bless us...
